EPSON Vision Guided
Robotics
EPSON Vision Guide is
known as the industry's easiest to use vision guidance solution for
robotics. After over 15+ years of providing integrated vision guidance
solutions for our industrial robots, EPSON Vision Guide has the tools and
features required to reduce development time and save companies money. But
we didn't stop there. With advanced features such as Geometric Search,
Polar Search, Normalized Correlation, and much much more, EPSON Vision
Guide also has the power you need to solve your tough vision guidance
solutions.
EPSON G-Series SCARA
Robots
With over 168 SCARA models
from 450 to 1000mm in size and payloads up to 20Kg, our
EPSON G-Series arms lead the industry
in arm rigidity and provide smooth, crisp motion most other vendors can
only dream of. Our G6 arms now offer the best footprint to envelope ratio
in the industry and we are even able to do many jobs with a 550 arm that
other vendors require 600mm of reach to accomplish.
All our G-Series robots run on the compact yet powerful Micro PowerDrive RC180 controller. And of course one of the features for our G-Series SCARA robot line is vision guidance with EPSON Vision Guide all integrated on our EPSON Micro PowerDrive RC180 controller. While EPSON products are well known for our high quality and high performance, the best just got better as G-Series Arms with the EPSON Micro PowerDrive and Vision Guide are priced at incredibly low prices.
EPSON Smart Cameras
EPSON Smart Cameras provide powerful
integrated vision solutions at a value price. Built to work with the low cost
EPSON Micro PowerDrive controller, now you can have an easy to use, fully
integrated vision solution combined with the power and reliability of EPSON
Robots all at an unbelievable price. Best of all, the new EPSON Smart Cameras
utilize the industry leading ease of use of our Vision Guide software to ensure
that your development time is kept at a minimum while still providing all the
robust features expected of an advanced robot guidance vision system
today.
With tolerances becoming tighter, many robotic applications need
a solid vision solution to place parts reliably due to part variation, feeding
limitations, tooling and many other issues. The tight integration of EPSON
Smart Cameras with the EPSON RC180 controller through our EPSON RC+ controls
platform provides a development environment that is both easy to learn/use yet
packed with the powerful features required for even the most demanding vision
guidance applications. Built in calibration wizards for mobile, upward,
downward, and fixed cameras allow for fast and easy robot to camera calibration
without special tools or even special training. Just follow the instructions in
the wizard and you are ready to begin finding and placing parts. In addition,
vision tools such as Normalized Correlation, Geometric Search, Blob, Polar
Search, Edge Finder, Lines, Points, Image Processing, Histogram and a whole lot
more provide the power to find parts even under the most difficult of
conditions such as poor lighting or noisy environments.
Reduce Development Time with True Robot/Vision
Integration
As with all EPSON
integrated options, EPSON Smart Cameras are more than just a simple connection
to the RC180 controller. All EPSON Smart Cameras are integrated into the
industry leading EPSON RC+ development environment and provide true
Robot/Vision Integration. A point and click interface is provided for building
Vision Sequence solutions so that development time is now reduced to hours
instead of weeks. No time is wasted putting together code to make the robot and
vision system communicate and there is no need to learn 2 separate environments
and languages (vision environment/language + robot environment/language). In
fact Vision Guide has only 3 language commands VGET, VSET and VRUN. This is due
to the highly graphical vision object based development environment and point
and click Vision Guide interface. With EPSON Smart Cameras, Vision Guide
software and EPSON Robots you can:
